Cayan Group, in collaboration with Saudi Arabia's NEOM, has formalized an agreement to

establish a second Hampton by Hilton hotel within the expansive 26,500 square kilometre giga-project in northwest Saudi Arabia. This accord was finalized at the International Hospitality Investment Forum in Berlin, witnessed by notable attendees including Chris Nassetta, President and CEO of Hilton, and Ahmed Alhatti, Chairman of Cayan Group.

The new arrangement stipulates that Cayan Group will fully finance and oversee the development of the 201-key Hampton property, which aligns with the ongoing surge in construction activities necessary for the foundational developments at the site. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance the infrastructure in response to escalating demands within the region.

Ahmed Alhatti expressed his enthusiasm about continuing the collaboration with Hilton, a globally esteemed hospitality partner. He reaffirmed his commitment to investing in NEOM, spurred by the visionary leadership of His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.

The construction of this Hilton-managed hotel is set to commence shortly, with plans to inaugurate the facility at the outset of 2025. It will represent the second Hampton establishment within the NEOM Community, upholding the brand’s commitment to providing a flawless hospitality experience replete with exceptional amenities and sophisticated interiors.

Carlos Khneisser, Hilton’s Vice President of Development for the Middle East & Africa, shared his pleasure in renewing the partnership with Cayan Group. He emphasized Hilton's dedication to expanding the tourism and hospitality sector in Saudi Arabia, in conjunction with various strategic partners, both public and private. This expansion is anticipated to significantly increase Hilton's footprint in the region.

The design and construction of the hotel will prioritize sustainability, incorporating energy-efficient systems to align with NEOM’s ambitious sustainability goals. This project is a crucial step in developing the livability and infrastructure necessary for the ongoing growth and development of the area.
